At the base of Vail Mountain, along scenic Gore Creek sits the platinum-rated Lodge at Lionshead. Just east of Lionshead plaza, we are close enough to be convenient yet far enough to be quiet and secluded. The Eagle Bahn gondola, Vail Snowsports School and Born Free chairlift are a short 100 yards (91 meters) from our back door. The new Market at Vail is right next door. It’s an easy stroll to Lionshead or Vail Village for world-class dining, boutique shopping and exciting nightlife!

A WARNING about Uber and Lyft

Neither rideshare service offers reliable service in Colorado's mountain communities. We tell our guests they are worth checking out for trips around town, because a taxi can always be called if an Uber or Lyft driver is not in the area. Please DO NOT expect an Uber or Lyft driver to be available for your trip to or from the airport. Rideshare services are rarely available to Denver International Airport (DEN) and do not service local Eagle County Airport (EGE) at all. We have had numerous guests miss flights because it is very difficult to arrange alternative transportation at the last minute.
