Most of the year it's pretty cool to live in a ski town and opening weekend it's definitely cool to live in a ski town! Local's smiles are little bit bigger as they dust off skis/ snowboards and dig out their gloves and goggles from last season. Everyone is a buzz about snow conditions and runs that will open. Local shops are busy doing last minute equipment tunes. The excitement is infectious and it's everywhere. Oh, and did I mention US Ski Team stars Bode Miller and Lindsey Vonn have been training at Golden Peak all week? I love living in a ski town!
