Today is Passholder appreciation day on Vail Mountain.  That meant free lunch (valued at up to $15) today on Vail Mountain and an apres ski party over at Tavern on the Square.  Not a bad deal if you ask me!  It's always nice to be appreciated. 

Tomorrow, you can ski or ride AND play poker on Vail Mountain.  This is the brilliant idea of Tom Howard - local Rotarian - to raise money for charities supported by the Eagle Valley Rotary clubs.  I know Tom through our local search and rescue group - Vail Mountain Rescue Group - so I can tell you first-hand that he truly is brilliant.  Here's how it works...Rotarians will be stationed at various locations on Vail Mountain.  Once you purchase a playing card, you proceed to each location to get a (1) card dealt to you.  After skiing to all 5 locations, you'll have your poker hand and the highest scoring hands of the day will win cool prizes.  I'm telling you - it will be fun!

Spring weather is on tap all weekend, so really you can't go wrong as long as you are outside.  If you need apres ski suggestions, let us know!
