Here's another great family activity to check out. Each Friday, the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek hosts "Fridays at the Park" which features fun, free activities for the whole family. There's live music, fly fishing demonstrations, giveaways and more. Each week also includes a different theme, focusing on various topics such as safety, “green” practices, outdoor education, and other topics. One of the best parts of the evening is roasting marshmallows around the gourmet s’moregasbord at the fire pit. Who doesn't love a gooey, chocolatey treat? FAP also includes free rides on the Buckaroo Express Gondola, located just steps from Park Hyatt Beaver Creek.
Continuing this summer, FAP will include a special theme every other week, allowing guests to learn more about opportunities such as sustainability, safety and fire prevention and the EverGreen Ball, Eagle County’s first sustainable soiree. Partners helping with programming include the Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability and the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.
One more bonus for the big kids - nationally acclaimed restaurant 8100 offers a three-course prix fixe dinner for $30, plus tax and tip for those guests who would like to enjoy sampling the latest summer flavors during or after Fridays at the Park.
Fridays at the Park runs from 5-7:30am and is free and open to all ages. Have fun!
