Beaver Creek's annual Blues, Brews & BBQ takes place in just a week and a half!  If you like bbq and beer - and who doesn't? - you will love this festival!  Each Memorial Day weekend, BBQ vendors from the area and around the country set up their tents in Beaver Creek Plaza and go to town smokin' and bbqin'.  Lucky people like you and me get to spend the weekend going tent-to-tent trying out small plates, and sometimes big plates, of mouthwatering culinary delights.  Of course, you'll find plenty of meat - pork, turkey, sausages and brisket - but some of the best items are the sides.  Some of my favorites from years past have been mac n' cheese, corn pudding, corn-on-the-cob, hush puppies and the desserts that go so well with bbq like peach cobbler and banana pudding.  YUM!  

There are beer tents throughout the plaza to quench your thirst and great blues bands performing both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  If you want to go all out, head to Park Hyatt Resort & Spa's Microbrew Beer Tasting and Seminars on Saturday from 1-5pm to sample handcrafted brews from 35+ breweries.  This is a ticketed event and typically costs between $40 & 50 a ticket.
