Beer, brats, oom pah bands...it's just good ol' German festival fun this weekend!  I don't even feel like I have to sell it.  If you like beer and if you like the mountains, you're going to like Oktoberfest in Vail. It's that easy.  This weekend, all of the festivities take place in Lionshead Plaza which means guests of Lodge at Lionshead are a two-minute walk from all the fun.  No driving, no wait - it's all right here.  Other Oktoberfest events include brat-eating and Beck's Keg Bowling contests, yodeling and alpenhorn blowing, and Bavarian dancing. 

The Weather Channel is predicting sunshine all weekend and highs in the 60s.  The blue skies lately have been amazing and you'll start to see some changing aspen leaves on the drive up to Vail - especially in 10-mile canyon by Copper Mountain.  So come on up to Vail - you'll have a great time if you do!
