We're not really celebrating.  In fact, I'd say with the exception of our general manager, we are rather depressed.  Joy won't even say the word "snow" - she says we are not allowed to say "that s-word" yet.  The good news for you is that this is undoubtedly a good omen for ski season.  It's good news for us, too, as it is part of the reason we live here.  Epic snow is something we worship religiously around these parts, especially when it falls in several inches or feet upon Vail Mountain.  However, we would prefer to not to see snowfall until November.  It is September.  We still have fall to celebrate and the last inklings of summer to bask in before we retire the flip flops for snow boots.   So please Mother Nature, hold that snow just a little while longer.
